I was born in one megacity, and today I live in another.
Soon after I was born in Seoul, South Korea, my parents moved to Minneapolis, where I grew up. After momentary stops in unlikely places like Ithaca, N.Y., Federal Way, Wash., and Barcelona, I settled in New York City, which is where I live today.
My career is one of those Frankenstein's-monster careers you see often in New York: programmer/artist/writer, or something like that. Since mid-2006, I have been a software engineer at Diversion Media. From 2002 to 2006, I was the Director of Technology at the online new media arts organization Rhizome.org.
