*The amount of the highest bid is not made public during the auction; only the amount required to beat other bids is shown.
I am offering the Unauthorized iPod U2 vs. Negativland Special Edition for auction through my own website. Offering an auction without going through an intermediary means you can offer products that might not be suitable for a risk-averse company such as eBay. However, it also means that all parties involved must go to extra efforts to ensure the integrity of the bidding process.
To bid, send me an email telling me how much you would like to bid. Your bid should be in whole dollars. If this is your first bid, include URLs that somehow represent your online identity. This could be your homepage or blog, but it could also be a user account on an online community such as Slashdot or Rhizome.
After receiving your email, I'll reply to get a confirmation.
Once a bid is confirmed, I'll list it on this page, along with a link to the links you've supplied. If you have the highest bid, I won't list your entire bid amount, just the amount that is one dollar more than the next highest bid.
