Exhibit 47 in the hurricane of cultural incestuousness that is New York City: Yesterday I was at the neighborhood produce stand, which is owned by a middle-aged Korean couple who speak broken English. As I was waiting in line, the wife was calling a Polish grandmother "Mami". Whoa.
