My first contribution to the small, fanatical Ruby community is available for the world to see: Lafcadio. It's an open-source, object-relational mapping framework for use with the Ruby language and MySQL. (The title is a reference to Shel Silverstein, though even with that hint I'd be thoroughly surprised if anybody could figure out what the name might have to do with the software.)
